Default Need suggestions, picking up another C3

the 77 I'm going to get this weekend has aluminum wheels with 4 of the 5 lugs keyed, of course the owner can't find the key, well the tire is flat and punctured. How should I go about getting these off so I can get the thing out of his driveway??? I'm thinking, cutting and splitting??

Take a set of 1/2 inch drive sockets with you. Hammer one that's just a tiny bit bigger than the lug onto it REALLY HARD. Use ratchet to remove. The hardest part is getting the lug out of the socket afterwards, a vice and a 3/8" bolt is handy to have nearly.

Snap-On makes a locking lug remover kit, made specifically for this task. I know there are other cheaper kits out there too. I'd check with your local auto parts retailer.

SEARS has the sockets with teeth that you have to hammer in and use an impact wrench to remove.. the sockets are disposable.

Spend $100 to have a car carrier pick up your Vette and drop it off
at your house. There you can work on the tires and rims.

That would be my first trick. Once I got her home, I could take my time and plan an all-out assault on the locked lugs.
