Default Sensor Locations

I'm reassembling my engine and I'm stumped on the right side (passenger) sensors.

When I took it apart there were two sensors, one on the bottom in front of the starter about the edge of the oil pan line with a shield and another on the cylinder head just above the exhaust ports towards the rear. Both were connected but now I'm bringing to think someone put a knock sensor in both locations.

I cannot find any data, photo, or assembly manual information on a sensor being location on that cylinder head but the knock sensor is confirmed to be along the lower portion of the block.

Assuming I now have the knock sensor in the right location, what, if anything should be in that cylinder head?
Just looking for confirmation before I go any further. I'm guessing it's the temp switch. Thanks in advance.

So what is the sensor and what color wire should go to it and the knock sensor?

PS Updated pictures on my website of the reassembling. After much debate I went with “Cast Iron” as the engine color and I love it. My only concern in the paint on the top plenum; if it discolors I’ll replace it with a polished version I’m working on.
