Shifter bracket
Hi -- I'm installing a Hurst comp shifter to My Muncie 4-speed. I have a 68 convertable BB and It curently has a bracket to mount the original shifter to. I want to mount the shifter directly to the tail housing. Any reason why I can't bolt directly or do I need to use the seperate attaching bracket?? thanks

Remove the original shifter mounting bracket & have at it.
