HELP-Tach conversion problem
I have a 72 Stingray (originally cable driven tach from the distributor), I have since installed a Mallory Unilite distributor and coil. I purchased an electronic tach from Corvette Instruments out of Florida (very nice to deal with by the way). It is a simple 3 wire hook up, but doesn't work. Mallory's tech line sold me a "tach adapter" part # 29074, but still no tach. We have moved the signal wire to both sides of the coil in desperation....still no tach. We have power, ground, and signal. Anyone else have this trouble?
