what year vette? do you have no power to the ignition switch (interior ignition key assembly) or no power to the distributer module or do you have no spark @ the ignition coil or spark plug wires?

take a jumper wire from the positive side of the alternator to your distributors positive side and turn the key and see if you get juice to the plugs..... if not then the issue is before the ignition.
or put a voltage meter on the positive wire while the key is on to see if your even getting power?
