Racing question???
I have a few people i need to race on the Georgia backroads. First some background on the car. I have a 1981 with some mods but mostly stock with a automatic. My question is, when do i shift the gears. When it readlines at 6000 rpms, or when its in the yellow, or when it completely readlines. Any info will help.

if you have A/C you need to stay under 5500
Now if you felt like some extra work pull the power steering, air pump a/c belts and have a little more horsepower at your disposal if you want to drive with a no options car till you put the belts back on
Also if you have a local speed shop pick up some flow masters or other 1/2 chamber mufflers and another 20 horse (depending on your current number of course :D )
