Friggin QA1's!!!

These C-3's...has to be the one cars *YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO ASK*:
1.are these a direct bolt-on?
2.Are any other mods needed that you know of to install these parts?
3.is this the best price you have?
4>are these a direct bolt-on? (repeated)
5>Are any other mods needed that you know of to install these parts?(repeated)
I have learned
I "eyeball"
I compare..
and in the end...
...nothing is as it seems on these cars...even with the old parts in hand is not a guarantee of fittment...they are masters of disquise...crafted to have the appearance of fittment.
Some of them remind me of those "trick the eye" pictures that circulate the net.
On the shocks as an example:
A hole drilled to far left or right by only 1/4" can mess up a simple repair that a person may or may not have done a zillion times.
Hey...
Some vendors do it on purpose, even with "correct wording"
in descriptions/application.

Some vendors dont care to find out..they just want to sell...."MIC or not, lets make the $$...".

And of course; some vendors dont like the idea of; "a problem in the field", and want to hear about it in a courteous, serious, helpful manner, to remedy the situation from ever happening again.
It has become a standard in my vocabulary...I bet I drive people nuts with all my questioning.
Knowledge is power...power perceived, is power received..."
or something like that...
and it applies to HP...

BTW...yes I would be ticked off too if I was trying to work in a parking lot without ample tools...

Datawiz filmed the 11.03 pass.. I saved that video but any other videos would be appreciated!!

But about all this bolt-on nonsense, I agree with Twin Turbo. On a stock corvette, if you order a stock part, then yes, it should fit. But aftermarket parts don't always work perfectly on C3's. That's just the way it is.
And about asking vendors questions... aside from Corvette specific parts manufacturers and distributors, you can't trust someone from, say, Summit, to know the specifics about your car because they sell parts for thousands of cars and can't possibly know every little detail in terms of application about every part in their inventory.
Unless you know someone from the forum, or someone in person who's tried a specific aftermarket part on the C3, you're bound to run into some issues.
