Hi Everyone,

I have received a bunch of emails on how to register Vettes with GM from a previous post I made.

To register your Vette (have your VIN # ready) call 1-800-222-1020 pick option #4 at the first prompt then option # 3 at the second. This number is the Chevy Corp office in Detriot. Tell the rep you want to register you classic car with them.

Chevy will send you all kinds of info on your car, specs (what it came with), the cost, number produced, owners manual, ect... all free!

I thought it was cool to get all this stuff on my vettes, though it just sits in a box now. lol

Ok, I just called, they may have changed the options from the last lime a I called. Try option 4 and then option 4 again for customer care. Tell them you want to register your clasic car and get a restoration kit. They will take you info and mail it right out to you.

Just registered my 1973. They said they would send a restoration kit.
Thanks for the info, I check the forum almost daily and the wealth of knowledge here really helps.

I just registered our '69. I was told all the info GM sends you is generic, nothing specific to your VIN. No records anywhere, so I'm told.
