Brake Problem! Need Help
Car first pulls to right and then left side caliper freezes and heats up wheel. Already replaced left caliper thinking its was bad and checked rotor run-out, which was accetible. I can now only conclude that the left side fexible brake line is bad or there is a clog in left front output on proportioning (distribution) valve. Did not have problem bleeding brakes and right front works fine. I almost seems like there is a restriction in the line that allows compression but restricts fluid when brake is release, thus freezing cailper to rotor. Any thoughts?
I also once had a similar car situation, and it ended up being a flex line, that posibly had a loose liner that plugged the return of the brake fluid. I would suggest a new flex line. When it locks on, have you tried breaking loose the line, and then does the caliper free up?
