help IDing Q-jet
is there anyway to tell what what car/motor they came from?
ive pulled the numbers off of one of them 7042211 qf 0812, but from doing some googleing, it looks like this is just manufactureing specs (what year, 2bbl/4bbl, chevy/buick/etc, plant code, date manf.)
is there some way to tell what these came off of?
i may have found it, if im correct 7042211 would be for a CHEV 72 350 TRUCK SERIES 10 FED M/T, yes?

and the odd number at the end means manual trans. You can tell that without peeking,

they say: "Series C, K, P-10"
i just hope my dad made a mistake and left the carb on the vette and didnt swap it out like he thought he did.
