heck, you've got 13 inch rotors and four piston calipers from the factory!!! ... What more does a street machine need?

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I was at Mosport yesterday and used the brakes hard. No way stock calipers would have held up.
As for the parking brake, do you mean the mechanical spot caliper? They are just wilwoods and have been around for a long time, I'm using one on the pinion as my parking brake.

If Brembo is what you are after contact http://www.movitbrakesusa.com/ they make the best bolt on kits for our cars.
I just installed set of Willwood's on my 79 with set of 13" cross drilled and slotted rotors. I got the kit from PBC, very poor quality kit, nothing fit, I basically had to re-do the all the brackets and shims and rotors to make them work!!!
Now that the brakes are on and I have since put 500miles on them I must say that with the Hydroboost these brakes are stunning. Like the guys have said here, stock brakes are good too, when everything works as intended by the GM. Only thing that I always had with stock brakes was fading. Even with new fluids, Hawk pads and everything new they still started to fade after few quality minutes of som hard driving. I have given my new brakes some good ol' spanking and yet I haven't noticed any fading, just amazing braking power all the time!
These brakes also came with 2-piece rotors, the front hats are aluminum, very very light. THe stock calipers are cast iron and man are they heavy. I lost over 10kg's on the brakes alone and that made a difference to the steering feel when braking and turning the wheel at the same time....
Here's a shot of my "new" old stock brakes

And here's the new brakes
