Default rate my plugs

I pulled the plugs on my 72 and they all pretty much look like the following pictures. How do you think they look? From what I've read and looking at the pictures on the NGK website they appear to be the proper heat range, etc. I'm not an expert on this so I appreciate any input.

My plugs

What do you guys think?

Not bad. It's starting to burn some oil though. Oil on the threads and the discoloration at the porcelin tip also looks like oil.

I don't thing so. I like my plugs white. New cars get better mileage AND engine longevity because of running lean. I run a blower car and run it lean. My plugs are white after a run on the expressways. After 6 years I pulled the heads and the pistons looked fantastic, very little crude on them and the valves also looked clean.
Not a sign of burning anything.
Rich mixtures don't make more power, they also shorten the life of a motor by washing the cylinder walls plus gas mileage is down.
The qualifying engines for nascar use to run leaner, hotter and more spark for a qualifying engine and then drop back to a richer mixture for the long hall.
I feel the plugs look fine and would NOT richen it up.
I have played alot with jetting and have done 4 or 5 swaps in the past week playing with my motor.
A couple of jets sizes richer can quickly mean 3 or 4 miles less per gallon.
Yes we drive street cars and gas mileage counts. I am getting about 14 0r 15 on a blown bigblock around town and a little highway thrown in.
