Default Headlight actuator

I have an '82 that recently incurred a headlight malfunction. Lifting the hood revealed a vacuum line coming from the headlight to (I'm thinking) the actuator, but the line had a broken piece of material in the end of it and it was just hanging there. It had apparently broken off at some point. My question is, if any of you have had the same problem, and if so, what needs replaced? Can I just replace that piece, or do I need the complete actuator? Thanks in advance...

It is probably from your relay valve. Some of the repro valves are just as bad. They break with a minimum of effort. There is one repro valve that comes with the vacuum hose color coding on them that has held up much better. Unfortunately, I don't know who has them.
