Do a search for 8t1-7t9 Bionic Vette to see an awesome 81. The next time I see him around, I am going to take a roll of pics of his car and post them here. His car is in PERFECT shape. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=135428 --- Link to one of his posts
I can't post photos from behind my corporate firewall. However, here is a link to a page I have on the Roger's Corvettes site. (Thanks Roger!) http://www.rogerscorvette.com/free/morris.htm
This is my 74. I will soon (possibly tonight) have a picture posted of my friends yellow 80 with the 17x9.5 Centerline Pintails from my car that we mounted up for fun.
my first vette was a 79 yellow shark with an 80 front nose and spoiler and a pace car rear spoiler. It had black leather and mirrored tops, it was what started to satsify the fever I had since age 5, I was 16. Now I am 28 and that car brings back some serious memories and to be my second favorite vette to date behind the one I have now which is a 69 Daytona Yellow 427 Roadster. I really want a black car, but the yellow sure does grow on you and looks good all of the time, it doesn't show dust or pollen like the others.
Here is the picture I promised. These are my 17x9.5 Centerlines on my friends yellow 80. Suprisingly, with a 5" backspace the front required no spacers and the rear required one to clear the calipers but for the rear I wasn't comfortable with the amount of grab on the stud we got so I would get longer studs for the back. Sorry about the size of the pic.
