Default Ashtray Guages

Wish I had thought of that. That was a cool idea. I just mounted my newest guages on the left windshield column which was already cracked anyway.

I was thinking of a mildly done (somewhat stock looking) two-tone interior. The interior was black (stock) but I don't want to drive a car with a black interior year round. I'm fixing her up to become a daily driver.

So far I've decided on a mix of bright blue and gunmetal, I think those two colors go well together. My only hangup is deciding what color goes where? First I thought gunmetal would look good as the vinyl while bright blue got carpet duties, now I'm leaning more towards bright blue mostly everywhere with some gunmetal highlights. I have blue Corbeau A4 seats in mind and plan on using interior dye to recolor the black leather parts in gunmetal.

Any suggestions?

I got mine at Mid-America about five years ago and as far as I know...

...no one sells it anymore.

You can do a search but I just checked Mid, Zip, and Ecklers. I doubt any other Corvette parts retailers would have that 4 spoke if none of the above did. Sorry.

I got mine from a guy that had it in his garage for 30 years. He bought a 68 in the early 70,s and it came with the car (not installed). He told me it was off a mid 60's corvette Lemans car. I have seen a similar wheel without the Zora signature but only one other with the signature.

Swap meets would be a good place to find one. Probably pricey but it'll be unique.

Very clean workshop! I would have to spill something to feel comfortable working in it.
Good think my asphalt doesn't show stains!

My garage floor absorbes EVERYTHING spilled on it. It's one big stain.

I keep saying one of these years I'm gonna haul everything out and paint the floors with some heavy duty garage floor paint.

That''s the side where the car is sitting, you should see the other side where the fabrication is done..and the workbench stains everywehere.

How much slag and grinder dust do you sweep up a week? I feel like I should be recycling this stuff I go through so much.
