Let me just throw this out there and see what you guys/girls think. (A little fast info: GM crate, edelbrock 600 carb, jegs distrib.)
If it runs strong and what feels to be normal at initial start up, but then once it warms up and you shut it off, the idle feels a little low. It runs fantastic when you start it up cold, but it just seems to loose power after it completely warms up. I am guessing timing.... Where do you suggest I start??? THANKS!

Under those terms, I'd expect the idle to be real low -like zero.
The timing doesn't change -hot or cold. You most likely have a carb/vacuum issue. That it runs better cold, I'd say you're a little lean. Maybe a simple turn or two on the idle screws or a slight vacuum leak.
The funny thing is that it is just for a minute or so on the second start-up that it does this. Just doesn't seem to have as much power as it did on the initial cold start.
Thanks for all the help! I am trying to sell the car and wanted to get this problem fixed before I sell it.
as already mentioned the timing doesn't change whether the car is hot or cold.
If it's running strong with the choke on than not running as strong once it warms up and the choke is off I'd check idle adjustment and mixture adjustment.
