Re: Edelbrock IAS shocks: Any feedback from users? (John Ulrich)
They must have made those available fairly recently- I was shopping shocks many months ago & called them to see what the status was for our application since nothing was listed in the catalogs at that time. They said they were looking for a C3 to do some testing w/ and wanted to know if I'd be interested in volunteering my car for it- I politely declined! It's good to see they've finished beating up somebody's Vette & have a shock for us now, but there might not be alot of Vette owners using them yet.

I had put these on my Expedition about 3 years ago and really liked them...they made the big truck handle pretty good. They seem to have gone soft, but that maybe be because I put a new suspension in my daily driver Audi TT which is pretty tight.
I think these have been available on the C4's so maybe you can ask over there.

The mag ad has listed 68-82 Vettes for years, but they don't have them. I emailed them the about 2 years ago asking and they said they'd have them 'real soon now'. Still nothing.
Re: Edelbrock IAS shocks: Any feedback from users?
I did find out from from a rep at Jeg's who called Edelbrock for me, The price from Jeg's is $89.99 ea. They are still on backorder with no know ship date yet!!!
The part numbers are #33028 - fronts, #34028 - rears.
With winter around the corner I doubt if they will be available in time to try out before my vette goes into storage.
Edelbrock is offering a video....800-fun-team ext/offer #0409.
Later,

I haven't seen these for the 63-82 models yet but I did install a set on my step dad's 86 Z-51, rides about the same as the bilsteins did, feels more controlable in the corners. If they work out as well for our cars as they did for that 86 then I'd say they are a good buy.
