I have no pedal. Was going to replace all calipers and go to SS lines but though about it and figured I ought to see if it is just a line leaking or a bad caliper or master cylinder. I have 2 questions:
Without taking a caliper apart, can you tell if it has orings or lip seals by just taking it of the rotor?
If I chdo change all 4 all around would it make sense to replacw wheel bearings while I am in There?
you will only be able to tell if it has been sleeved by just taking caliper off. The dust seal hides the seal type on the piston. front wheel bearings make sense.. the rears are no simple task and require special tools shims etc to get right.
When you step hard on the pedal and the red brake warning light in the cockpit comes on, you have air in at least one of the systems, normally in the back one.
Replacing the caliper piston seals could solve this if there is not too much runout due to warped brake sik or worn bearings.
Try to replace by the O-ring piston kit , sold for example by VBP.
If the waring light does not come on, well , you need to trouble shoot a bit further for possible bad master cylinder.
