Are you ordering the Jeep box kit or are you gonna fab a salvage yard box in yourself?

Nah, I ordered a kit from Tom at corvettesteering. The thought of trying to get someone out here to weld the pitman arm made me go all inside.

The speed limits (huh) aren't enforced and I don't think twice about driving to work at 100mph in my Durango. I'd hate to be doing that speed in a car that SHOULD be driven at that speed and suddenly find my pitman arm has a pitman elbow...

Saudi - Have you seen Chrysler's new Aspen? It's their version of the Durango. It really doesn't look bad at all. A lot cleaner with more of a lux feel. I'm a Dodge guy when it comes to my Durango so I will probably never own a newer one...but I think it's cool Chrysler is finally releasing a truck.

Nah mate. I haven't really been looking all that hard. I used to drive a sh*tty old 82 Blazer and when I finally had enough of it, I asked the guys at work about the pros and cons of their various cars. I still wanted a big car for piece of mind driving out here and also for transporting all (well, SOME) of our band kit to gigs and the Durango won out.

It's a lovely car though, and I have no regrets at all. I've had 8 adults in it comfortably on a few occassions and I've had it full to the gunnels with band kit and it still drives and handles well...

I have the older version...a 1998. It's not as clean as yours line wise, but I love the beefy look from my years.

When my engine starts fading I'm gonna swap in a new 6.1 Hemi. The 360 has served me VERY well, and I love it but really want a Hemi.

I have a Harbor Freight version and it's never failed me. Unfortunately, HF has quit selling them.

Might be a little boring though.

example

Hey guys, what mods have you done to your Durango?

Ummm..... None, it's a year old and under warranty

Hey guys, post pics of your Durango

Ahhhh.... check out the sales brochure, mine's the one on the second page at the bottom

I spose we could always post pics and see who can stow the most crap in the back. For the record, I can fit:
1 x Double bass
2 x Bass guitars in cases
1 x Large (read, bloody big and bloody heavy) bass cab
1 x Large bass cab head
1 x Case with radio pack receivers
Stage lights
Smoke machine
Assorted boxes filled with (crap) essential band equipment - leads, power cables, wall socket adaptors (cos no 2 buildings have the same socket) flash pots, confetti cannon and a Co2 bottle. Oh, and more leads
1 x Singer (wife)
1 x Driver/bass guitarist (me)

Yeah, that looks about right although I may have missed a few smaller things....

NP203 Transfer Case
Complete 1978 4x4 Dana 60 Front Axle
