I bought a new light socket assembly from Paragon. It came complete with lens, gasket, bulb and the socket which contained the amber glass piece for the fiber optics.
I guess I could twist that piece out but, is that the proper thing to do? I am just asking and want to make sure I don't permanently damage anything.
