71 side marker lamp
I need to replace my passenger side marker lamp on the rear of my car. I have called all of the major corvette catalog companies and now one carries them(discontinued by GM). I am looking for any possible corvette used part places that might have the lamp. I have also heard about a guy named Gary in St. Louis who has corvette parts. If anyone can give me a number or link to find a marker light I really need some help.

OK this is what I have found in my quest to find a side marker for a 71. (I need the Drivers side rear marker). It is in fact discontinued by Delco and no other company makes them. There is a Corvette parts supplier in Michigan whose has new ($59) and used ($35)marker lights. Their e-mail is mcr@cass.net. or 1-800-533-4650.

Delco has discontinued the production of Marker lights for 71's. I recently bought a 71 vet 350 and when I was washing it I noticed a peice of duct tape between the body and the marker lense assembly. I knew this was a tell-tale sign of bubba. I take it out and it is in fact not a corvette marker light. So my seach began. I called Ecklers, Zip, Corvette World, Napa,.... nobody had one. I ended up find a place in michigan that is an exclusive vet bone yard & parts dealer and they have some NOS 71 marker lenses. I just ordered it Tuesday. It was $59 +$6 s/h. They have used one too. I think they were $35. Here is there info:

Attention!
All lenses are date coded (if you want to get your car judged!)
Usually the year is molded into the lens or the backside with two digit number of the year.
Check out the back lenses and the side markers! :seeya
