If the head gasket did seep a little bit they usually corrode shut within a few heat cycles. Mine did it torque was on the money
Also motors with head studs for some reason do this. Goes away

When priming an engine it's imperative to rotate the engine 90 degrees and prime, do this for four rotations and you will see the rockers getting oil. Not doing this will leave engine
not fully primed.
