Blower motor runs except
I'm about to put my dash back in and I decided to double check everything worked before hand. My blower motor works when the fan is off, just like it's supposed to. But if I turn the fan on to any speed other than off, the blower motor stops completely. Where should I look for the problem?
oh man, i thought you meant low compression, all forged, kick azz hp BLOWER MOTOR!!
I'm not good with electrical but sound like you could be tripping a fuse when the fan comes on & draws too much current so the "blower motor" kicks off.
I may be talking out of my behind but at least I gave you a bump!
Good luck

That was false advertisment.... I wanted to see just what you described.
The heater/air cond. blower motor uses resistance wires that are formed into coils to regulate blower speed. This block of coils is located directly on top of the blower housing in the engine compartment. This arrangement allows for cooling of these coils as they are in the air path of the blower. There is a terminal plug that connects to it. This may be your problem if the dash switch proves to be good.
The HIGH SPEED however, uses a separate relay with a separate inline fuse. This relay is mounted to the side of the same housing. So those of you, who only have the lower blower speeds working and NOT the high speed, check this relay and it’s fuse. The relay contacts pit and corrode over time
