Default Wire Heat Shielding

I have a couple wires that plug into connectors on the block and go very near my headers. Anyone know where I can buy heat shielding for wires? Tried Pep Boys, Parks Auto, Advance Auto and no joy.
Thanks

CC has a stock wire insulator under part # 661294. Used for the coolant temp sensor. Comes in about a 2 foot length with a new end connector.

The good stuff that looks like OEM insulation for the coolant temp sensor is an asphalt impregnated fiberglass. Paragon has it. To get a 2-3' length, order one for a '64 or '65. It's 1/8" ID and good for a single wire. Not listed in their catalogue but they have it.

Default JC Whitney sells it too.

For the small stuff u can buy 1/2" fiberglass sleeving from good 'ol JC Whitney by the roll and cheap. Used it on my temp sensor and a electric fuel press sensor and most all my wires near heat. U can buy it in 3 different colors too.

And i really like it after installing so thats my 2 pennys and i hope it saves u a few too.
