Installed a Holley 750 with Vacuum Secondaries. My Question is how do you hook up the PCV. There is a small vacuum port on the front of the carb which is manifold vacuum but the port is so small.
I have set up the carb per Lars instructions and changed the vacuum secondaries spring to White. I changed the jets from 70 to 72.
I would not T your brake line with the PCV, see if the manifold has a vac port and hook the brakes to that and the PCV to the carb, you want all the vac you can get for the brakes with no chance of PCV valve failure causing problems
My Holley has both an 1/8" and 3/8" inch ports on the very front of the carb. They are close together and slanted off to the drivers side. The 1/8" is connected to the vapor cannister and the 3/8" is connected to a tee on the PCV and it then continues to the other port on the vapor cannister.
Agree with Evil above,..find a fitting that fits the intake and use that for your brakes. Then use the 3/8" port on the back of the carb (on the throttle plate) for the PCV.
In used the 3/8 fitting on the rear of the carb for brake booster. I used the small vacuum port on the front for PCV. I used thin vacuum line with an adapter to 3/8. Went for a ride and everything works fine. Set the floats, mixture and Idle.
I am using the port on the manifold for headlight vacuum. Car is has a 4 speed so only one port for vacuum. I guess I could of put a T-fitting in, buy it's working fine with the way I have it.
Motor is not running so, fuel pressure gauge reads low
