panel bonding
has any one every replaced the fiberglass door post panel ? I cut mine out in order to repair the bird cage I left the quarter pretty much in place. I have a nos to install but can't make a decesion on what to use to rebond it . Should I use something like duramix or Fursor or Vette bond II ? should this panel also be glued to the bird cage ? I actual bought the vette bond but was not sure if it would bond to the bird cage if that was neccessary Thanks ED.L

As the supplier of Vettebond II to Corvette central Now called fiber glue,
I can assure you that this product will bond fiberglass to steel as well as it bonds fiberglass to fiberglass . We have homie cars with the kits glued on and drag cars with bonded on hood scoops never heard of a part coming loose yet. Pm me if you would like further instructions
