Okay, you asked for it:

Engine:
Install new 296/296/106LCA/0.500 cam
Install forged crank (already have forged TRW pistons)
Install new heads, haven't decided wich ones yet...short on cash!
Install moon crossram w/ 4 dellorto's
install mallory unilite w/ promaster coil, needs chopping up stock 82 harness (HEI)
Complete new fuel + coolant lines
Install ZF-6 speed + oil cooler + pump + braided lines, needs modding crossmember & some other stuff
Sandblast, zinc coat & powdercoat frame + a arms
Modify rear trailing arms for wider tires (295)
Modify diff. for drain plug.
Install spreader bar + smart struds
Shorten front springs
fix body damage + birdcage damage
Touch up the body + paint
Finish front subframe w/ sheet alu wheel wells +large alu scoop.
Figure out how to make the front a flip front w/o having to remove headlights (found possible solution in stock frame extention and the metal plate behind licence plate, needs installing subframe in front clip too, bolted in the "rail" where the hood falls in, invisible when hood is glued on...a lot of fabbing to do there too)

And...persuade the guy I bought the crossram from to sell me his twin turbo's w/ intercoolers :D

Here's some of the latest (developed) pics..in no particular order.

Avery,

Last clunk I had was the bushing. Urthane replacement in 1994 shouldn't be bad yet, plus I have some freeplay in the pinion.

Gunther,

There is an address for the 6-link in that really long thread. Page 2 I believe.

Actually, I hope to have mine running just in time for the rain and cold.

Get the body back on the frame again.
Reinstall all the harnesses
Reinstall all the interior components

Let´s shorten this up a bit.

SIMPLY FINISHING MY BODY OFF RESTORATION :D

My current project is converting to power windows. I also have some post-paintjob things to do like installing weatherstripping, emblems and the wiperdoor.

I hope to have enough money to get into building a new engine during the winter! Still don't know should I rebuild the engine in the car, use the 040 over ex-boat engine my friend gave to me or to seek something else for the basis. Haven't decided if it will be a 350 or 383 either. Just know I need more power

I put mine away the long weekend in September when a guy made me an offer on my transmission that I couldn't turn down and wanted it immediately.
So here goes.
1 Install my new Tremec TKO
2 Rebuild my steering box
3 Reinforce frame with 1/8 plate around steering box. The frame really flexes when the steering is turned.
4 Lower inner tie rod ends to reduce bump steer. Means lowering the idler arm on one end and modified pitman arm
5 Replace the back 295 tires with 305s
6 New shocks to replace my 90/10 drag shocks. Also maybe new springs to replace my morosso soft long travel drag springs
7 Maybe the 6 point rear suspension but it would mean redesigning my existing 3 inch exhaust
While this won't keep me busy all winter I shoe alot more horses on the side to earn the extra money to pay for all this. This extra shoeing on the side keeps my wife from compaining about all the extra expenses. It pays really well and she is good about being away evenings .

Here in Texas I don't do winter projects unless driving is considered a winter project. Having a 71 convertible with no A/C I don't drive it much in the summer so I do summer projects. We just had a cold front come through last night and it is very nice convertible weather now so I think I'll go driving.

New front and rear sway bars
New adjustable shocks
Interior stuff, carpets, seats??

Hang out with my wife and son. Go skiing!

Drive it (when it's not snowing) because it runs awesome in the cold air.

I am seriously thinking about building a 427 SB stroker starting with a WP Motown block. I still don't know if I can do it this
year because I might have to wait until my Nortel stock comes back.

1- new front brake calipers, hoses, and rotors
2- fix leaking oil gauge sender line and power steering hoses
3- diagnose valvetrain ticking. probably install new camshaft, lifter, pushrods, rocker arms, springs, etc...
4- fix loose side-view mirror
