Timming Per Lars

I hope I have it right. I shimmed the dist. per lars instructions. I place the two gold springs in the dist, (HEI) per lars. With vacuum connected to manifold because car idles better. At idle 16 degress and 2500 RPM 36 degrees.

Please tell me its right.

Perfect, assuming those numbers are with the vacuum disconnected.

I think you should be checking the timing with the vacuum disconnected, 36 degrees by 2,500-2,700 RPMs.

Thanks again for the patience and answering so many questions. I have leared alot and will pass your information along. I have the correct spring in the secondarys and the paper clip trick worked great.
