Don't know, you need to measure the distance from the block to the forward surface of the pump to find out, from looking at there web sight this "is" for a short water pump (5 5/8" length). Because the c3 is different from other popular chevys it's hard to justify the cost for R&D (that is what I was told by some vendors), there are set-ups out there but they cost a premium, If you detour from these than I think you have to piese these things together to find what works, that can get expensive quick as well.

i measured the wp and this is what i have

short pump 2: Fits all 1971-82 S/B Corvettes. Comes with heavy-duty 3/4" ball/roller bearing. Dimension from block surface to hub: 5-13/16"

so, i think the pulley is not correct.....

i also was able to figure out the ps pump...... i had it on the wrong side of the alt bracket....

now, i have to go buy another bolt for the bracket to mount it to the block then i will be able to see if the 1"cog belt will clear the ps stuff.....

thanks for the pics also.....

You have the correct water pump, so it must be the pulley that is wrong then! Hopefully you can get one to work properly, because that cog system looks pretty cool. Still waiting to see pics of those folding t-tops I sold you on your car!

I do. Just eyeballin the photo, the WP pulley appears to be about 3/16" off, which coincidentally is the difference between the Vette WP (5 5/8") and the standard short WP (5 13/16").

update...

so jegs did send me the wrong wp... i have to send it back and i wonder if i'll be reimbursed for shipping....

so now my issue is that the ps pump interfers with the alt bracket...... i have the plain zoops brackets and they are a bit chunky to begin with.... i was thinking that i would just buy a alt bracket to mount on the pass side on the motor....well, cant do it cause i dont have 2 bolt holes in the heads for the bracket.... so now, my options are... try the original alt bracket and see if i have issues or get rid of the ps pump...... i'm also not sure if i can move the ps pump to the passenger side either.....

i should have just bought a march serp kit......wtf...

but i wanted the cog drive cause it's soooooo cool....haha
