I don't think you need to be that concerned. So long as they don't contact the headers for extended periods of time you're okay. Looms work great for that.

AND my "head lamp" light is ALWAYS on is there a sensor that i can adjust or replace? if so where and what dose it look like?

It's either bad door switches, or a bad headlight switch. Check to see if the switches in the door jambs do anything to affect the dome light. If they are working properly the headlight switch may be bad. Does your headlight switch rotate to dim the dash lights?

i dont think i hav a "dome" light if thats a light above your head and yes it rotates to dim the interior lights
I'm using a set of Hooker super comp headers running into straight duals with Dynomax mufflers at the end...It has that real low growl which is awsome.....Jerrylee///

I'm a little confused. I can't figure out what headlight indicator light you're talking about. Can you post a pic of it?
its above the battery gague and i think its the bottom half of the light under the "seat belt" light and i think it says "head Lamp" and it NEVER goes off unless i hit a bump HARD
Yes, it does say Head Lamp, but I really am bot familiar with what it's trying to tell you. I think that would be a good question and picture fro a new thread to get some more people interested in a new thread. Others have probably stopped subscribing to this one.
