Leak part 2....
I have a leak on what I believe is the tranny line....The small line which ties into the bottom of the radiator on the pass. side.....My mech. won't be available till sat n I wish 2 know if it's safe 2 drive till then...Thanx..Jerrylee///

For sure its probably your tranny cooler line if the leak is red fluid. The car can be driven if the leak isn't very big and your tranny fluid level is sufficient. A slow drip ever now and then wouldn't cause me much anxiety but a steady stream is a different problem and will need taken care of before you burn up your tranny.

Hey Jerry,Look at the leak volume when the car is put into gear, if it's leaking a stream and could allow the fluid level to drop quickly, don't drive around too much or you could burn up the transmission like Marshrat said. If it's just a slow drip, then you should be ok, just be sure to keep a close eye on the level

While you have the hood up and looking right at it, grab a wrench and see if the fitting is loose. See if it will tighten a half or quarter of a turn. You might luck out and actually fix the problem yourself.
