I just put in a manual valve. Not NCRS but it was functional. I did not give it much thought at the time, just did it. Seems like a T in the vac line for the heat/ac door could operate the valve also.

I installed a valve that has a threaded outlet and a cap. The threaded outlet is the same size as a male water hose end so you can flush a system with a garden hose easily.

Is the control valve normally open, and closed when the a/c is on, or is it normally closed, and opens when the heat is on??

Autozone has been very useful for me. They'll try to find what I want and usually succeed. Otherwise I find it at home and bring an image. They've been able to order and obtain just about any generic part (hoses, belts, lamps, etc) that I've required.

I say Autozone because it's the nearest to me. I've actually had pretty good luck with most places.... really helps nowadays to find the part number yourself and then take it with you.

I did go to Autozone but there wasn't anyone there that was able to help.

Default 76 heater control valve

Does it go on the water pump hose or the one going to the manifold?
