How many turns on the C3 at the steering wheel lock to lock?

The Corvette shop manual says 3.4 turns lock to lock.

Sounds good. My brother says his 67' camaro is 4 turns :D . I told him that GM used a quick steer in the corvette but he didn't believe me.

The quick steering feature is on most Sharks. It amounts to using the power steering linkage holes on the steering knuckles when the car is not equipped with power steering. Mount the tie rod ends in the front holes on the knuckles, have the front end re-aligned, and you've got quick steering.
