Here are some differences...

6210-1 secondary main jet or plate #122-632
6210-2,3 secondary main jet or plate #122-83

6210-1 power valve 8.5 primary, 6.5 secondary
6210-2,3 power valve 8.5

I have more details but not with me at the moment.

The Holley Illustated Parts & Specs Manual that I have is very old... and only lists the 6210 and the 6210-1

The 6210AAA is listed for Automatic/Manual Chevrolet 327 and 402 engine, 650 CFM double pumper, no year indicated.

The 6210-1AAA is listed for 1965-70 Chevrolet 327 and 402 engine, Q-Jet replacement, 650 CFM double pumper

When comparing these two versions, there are multiple parts that are different.

I suspect the same holds true for the -2 and -3 versions.

To accurately determine all of the differences, you need to refer to a more current version of Holleys Illustrated Parts & Spec Manual.

The Holley part number on my book is 36-51 (Revision 2). It also says "Retain revision 1 for some discontinued models".... which I do not have either.

I could not find the book on Holleys current web site.

if you go to holleys web site they have all the specs you need on these carbs. i just went there to check because i use it often.
go to holley.com then on the left of the page click on tech service then click on red banner TECHNICAL LIBRARY then under carburetor listings click on carb numerical listings and scroll down to list #'s 6210 and you in.

The information on the Holley site is their "Numerical Listing Catalog" which I also have. There is much more information, and many more listed differences between the carbs in the Illustrated Spec Manual.

The differences I posted in my original response are from the Numerical Listing.

Here are some more that you won't find there.... (e.g.)

Illustration View 41-1, exploded view-

index #50, Throttle Body & Shaft Assembly...
6210: 12R-4924A
6210-1: 12R-6713A

index #52, idle adjusting needle
6210: 15R-40
6210-1: 15R-120

index #76, Fuel Bowl & Plug Assembly Secondary
6210: 34R-7201A
6210-1: 34R-6665A

index #77, Metering Body & Plug Assembly Primary
6210: 34R-6736A
6210-1: 34R-7866A

On the 6210-1, there is a comment that the Illustrated Parts #50 & 52 differ from the numerical listing

The information on their web site is only partial... you need the Illustrated Parts & Specs Manual for the entire picture.

Must be something wrong with my computer.

The first link is the numerical listing as I have in my catalog from Holley... and it doesn't show the entire list of differences which I posted above from the Illustrated Parts Cat.

For example.... this difference (one of many) is not listed there.

index #50, Throttle Body & Shaft Assembly...
6210: 12R-4924A
6210-1: 12R-6713A

Nor is the fuel bowl or the idle adjusting mixture screw.

They list the 6210-1 and 6210-2 throttle body as NS... not serviced.

They only give a part number for the 6210-3 of 12R-7222-4AM

The second link comes up simply as an exploded view.... not showing any specific differences.

I'll have to get a new PC I guess.

Or maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong?
(Give me a hint)

If you want to know the entire list of differences, the Numerical Listing won't give you that. You will find a much more robust set of differences in the Illustrated Parts & Specs Cat.

The Numerical Listing is very limited in scope. It was originally intended mainly for "tuning" as opposed to parts ordering. I have both catalogs here and I can compare them 1-to-1. There is a lot more information and part numbers in the Illustrated Parts & Specs catalog. If you really need to know the differences, you need access to that publication.

As a machine shop owner, I used to have an account directly with Holley and I ordered parts directly from them on a regular basis.

I have both catalogs in front of me... the Numerical Listing (link above) has no where near the information in the Illustrated Parts & Specs Cat. (no link above).

But hey... if it works for you, then case closed.

Contacted Holley about their Illustrated Parts & Specs Catalog...

Here is the response:

HI,
thanks for your e-mail
at this time nothing else is available
Thanks for being a Holley customer
If there is anything else I can help with please let me know
Thanks Ricky

Your question was:
I have an old copy of the Illustrated Parts & Specs Catalog #36-51 Revision 2.
Is an updated copy available?

I guess "carburetion" is going the way of the Horse Shoe.
