Default She's Gone

Hello All,
Haven't heard from me in a long while but I've been checking in from time to time to see what's going on. I have read about several members who have lost their sharks. I have just recently joined the list :nonod: I just lost her do due the ability of a driver turning in to me. Extensive damage to the drivers side front suspension, frame and subframe. Insurance totaled it. Not many understand the loss. My wife says just get another one. I will eventually but we all know how much work it takes to keep these American Icons on the road. And we do it for the love of the car. I know you folks understand and share my grief as we all do for the others that have lost what I would like to call, a family member :cry Thanks for reading and your support. I'll be back

Sorry to hear of your misfortune  . Read Phoenix's post on his new find after a similar experience. There is light at the end of the tunnel ;) .

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Mine got totalled also after a lot of hard work had been put into it.

On the brighter side, you are now in the hunting mode. Which to me is always an exciting time. Each phone call and ride out to see what could possibly be your next ride. Keep us posted on your hunt. :seeya

Wow, glad you were not hurt badly. Keep your head up. Vettes are a lot like women. You'll probably quit looking and one will turn up when you least expect it.

Man if I lost my Vette there is no way that insurance could repay me for my time invested...

I really do appreciate the words of encouragement and well wishes. It makes me :U to see her in the impound yard. I did take a few things from her like the gas cap and nose emblems. Gonna make a plaque with her picture and hang it in the shop. Also kept the steering wheel and signal relay  I know but this way I can hear her telling me which way to go and the wheel so I can still feel her. I may sound pathetic but you all understand. So if anyone knows of an 80 in the Great Pacific NW please let me know. I will keep an eye on the forum and check in once in a while....THANKS!!!!!!!!

Keep your spirits up!

Phoenix just went through the same thing and picked up a beauty!

Go read his thread to cheer yourself up a bit. You can see how well it may turn out.
