69 power window question

69 power window question
Im rebuilding the power windows to my 69. All is original but windows have some scratches and all the grease is practically solid in the guides and worm gears to motor. Can the scratches in the windows be repaired and is there a grease that would best suited for this application, or is general use white grease ok?

I have used the white, lithium grease on rollers. Seems to work fine.
I know that there are scratch removal kits for windsheilds. Presumably they'd work for side window scratches but i don't know how well they work.

Generally speaking, if you can feel a scratch in auto glass with your fingernail it's to deep to repair....
