Is the water pump on a stock 76 Vette long or short?

It is a short water pump. Also be aware, there are two version of a short water pump; Corvette and non-Corvette. The Corvette Water Pump shaft is 3/4 instead of 5/8, and I think the flang is a bit farther from the casting than the non-Corvette pump.

Hopefully someone with more detail with jump in. . .
