Default Yet another LSxx question

Anyone thought of installing the intake backwards to pick up air from the trailing edge of an L88 type hood. I don't even know if it would fit, might need to be a custom fab, definately would have to be for the air box to work from back there, but would it work?
A mind is a terrible thing sometimes..

I have no idea if it would work but it'll throw some people off at car shows.

Well, I figure it would solve the lack of cold air induction and the need for a bunch of plastic plumbing in front of the motor. With an L88 hood and a modified air box, most of the planum parts would be part of the hood. I like clean
