Default Wheel studs

I need to replace 2 wheel studs (1 on front pass, 1 on rear driver) and was wondering if someone could show me which ones are the stock size. I did a couple searches and what I found was that people were upgrading the sizes so it didn't really help me. Any help is appreciated, I want to do this weekend.

They are the same front and rear. The fronts are easy. The rear and hard to do without disassembling the whole thing.

There is one spot in the back, where you can cut a hole in the dust shield and get a hole to punch out the old one and punch in the new one.

Stock size is 7/16-20 thread x 1 3/4 long, .480 knurl (all C3, front or rear). Any auto parts house should be able to get them. Manufacturer is probably Dorman.

Edit: just saw D Boys post. Bad information, there is no need to drill dust sheild (or dissasemble) in rear, 1 3/4 go in from the back, no mods needed

Does it depend on year? I wanted to change my rear studs for a larger stud, and there was NO way to do it without drilling.

The stock replacement studs fit without cutting anything, it's tight but it fits.

If you don't upgrade the size then at least get the better material, the cheap ones that you can buy at the Zone or AdvancedAuto are probably worse than what they installed 30 years ago.... can't expect much for 80c nowadays.....

Thats because you are using larger, longer studs.

Gotcha. It was so tight I wouldn't have though that the stock ones would fit through either though. No matter, I got it figured out.
