1981 two tones -- wasn't that the first car off the assembly line at Bowling Green? I thought I heard that two tones were made in BG and solids were done in the St. Louis factory.

Is that true ?

Congrats on your purchase. I've been very happy with mine. I just went over 171k miles this past weekend coming back from Eckler's. If I can't get the stripping kit I'm considering repainting it a bright metalic blue...but I sure wish I could find the strips.
