Fitting Trim Rings
I had difficulty removing my original trim trings some time ago and in fact slightly damaged them in the process. Is the correct procedure to deflate the tire before removing the ring as the clips go under the tire.

To take off and put on the factory trim rings you don't need to pry them or hammer them. What you do is pust the center of the 4 clips inward one at a time with a large flat head screw driver and gently push the ring inwards or pull if removing. You won't damage a thing this way.
