Default 454 - .30 over question ?

I am pretty sure my original 454 pistons had a 4.25 bore. IF I bored the cylinders .30 over....would my new bore be 4.55 ???

If YES....with the stock 4.0 stroke.....what is my new cubic inches using the original 781 (118 cc) heads......????????

I've had c3s since 1970, but never been this deep into one!

Thanks for any info on what I've done....

If you bored the cylinders 0.30" over there would be no cylinder walls left.

A "30 over" means 0.030" and your new bore will be 4.28".
