I am working on the OD set up in a 1977 Corvette. I am having issues with the throttle/TV cables working together.

It appears that my carb or intake may have been changed and am trying to figure out what is going on.

What I need is someone to please post pics of the drivers side of a STOCK 77 carb and a little behind the carb on the intake.

In checking my setup, it appears that there is a bracket on the last 2 intake bolts that that appears it will hold a TV cable and the metal line for the brake booster goes through it.

I will post some pics of mine in a few minutes.

This is the drivers side of the carb. I am wondering if that throttle bracket is correct. Also you will notice that in the lower right side there is a bracket that appears will hold a TV cable.

I am trying to figure out if this throttle cable bracket, carb and intake appear to be correct for this car.

That is the bracket for the automatic transmission detent cable (or kickdown cable). Your '77 would not have had a "TV" cable since those were only used on tranny's like the 700-R4.

Thats what it looks like to me too.

Could that be for a Cruise control set up?

I have another engine out of a 1977 Chevy truck (350 4bbl) and it has the exact same bracket on it.

It has a different throttle cable bracket though.

That bracket also apprears to mount nicely there with the 2 intake bolts .

There is obviously a missing kickdown cable here. Either your car is equipped with a TH400, or someone has removed the cable from your TH350.

Clearly visible here is the kickdown cable.
