This si one of the Motion Performance hoods. It's a stinger scoop on top of an L-88 hood.

Motion was a company on Long Isl. N.Y. who put together option packages for Baldwin Chevrolet- hence the "Baldwin Motion" cars.

I'm partial to the stinger scoop.

I'm pretty sure that is the bigblock/LT-1 hood used with the stinger scoop.

I love this hood!!!
Do you know where you got the scoop?
Is it functional or just cosmetic?
I am planning to repaint my car and this looks so cool and I could go with the bigger intake manifold as well.

I got my stinger scoop at Speedway Motors Inc., part # 900-1375--$60
It's a rugged fiberglass unit, rough on the bottom, gelcoat on top, that I cut down and tapered for the angle on my stock '79 hood. Yes it's functional on my car.

I think many of those are bought as an entire hood, not just the scoop... i remember seeing them online for about 600 bucks... don't remember the site though... ill post it later if i find it

Ecklers sells it for $679 but it is the large format so you must remove your wipper doors and also on 68-72 you need fiberglass mods on the corners. I like me wiper doors as they work great so I will not go the Ecklers route.

One last question is your hood scoop also open in the back?
I tried to call to ask and buy this morning but could not get through from here in Canada, I will try later, maybe something was wrong with thier lines.

I raised my old Eckler L-88 hood ~1.5" to accommodate tha RamJet. Probably more work than you want to deal with, but it provided the clearance without looking tooooo.... bogus.
