Heater Control Valve
A while back someone posted in here about some chain parts store that carried the heater shutoff valve for C3's. Anyone know what store that was or where the thread is? I can't find it.
TIA

That was me.
Store was AutoZone.
Valve is plastic, and it works much better than the stamped steel factory part.
I just looked at the AutoZone website - the valve is $16 and should be in stock at local stores.
Edit - I see you're looking for a manual cutoff, not a better vacuum valve.

I'm Batman,
do these autozone heater valves mount into any kind of bracket or do they just hang into the heater hose?

They just hang there. It's a direct replacement for the old stamped steel valve, even if it looks a bit different.
