I also use the Mobil grease but be aware it separates faster then other greases so look for red oil under the ball joints and other locations. No problem though just wipe it up and it will be fine.

Any decent brand of grease will do the job...if you lubricate items at reasonable intervals. The real question is what brand/quality of components are you applying the grease to? Cheapo parts won't last...regardless of the type grease you are using. [No Chinese hardware if it's a "wear" joint.]

Red Line CV-2 Grease.

Can be used at temperatures ranging between -100°F to 500°F and contains an organic moly. I have been a fan of Moly Disulfide for years.

What are your requirements? Do you need high temperate grease, cold weather low temp grease? The spec on all the grease brands mentioned is below. Read the spec and go with your requirements:

Product Description: Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease is an NLGI No 2 high-performance automotive grease which combines a synthetic base fluid with a lithium complex soap thickener. The thickener system provides a high dropping point, while additives impart optimum extreme-pressure properties and excellent resistance to water wash, and outstanding protection against rust and corrosion. Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease has excellent structural stability. The synthetic base oil used in Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease gives it excellent performance properties at both high and low temperatures. High structural shear stability coupled with a high performance base oil make Mobil 1 Synthetic an outstanding automotive grease.

Features and Benefits
Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease provides the following advantages and benefits:

Features
Advantages and Potential Benefits
All-purpose automotive service Certified to the NLGI GC-LB specifications for both chassis and wheel bearing lubrication
Wide Operating range -40 C (- 40 F) to 150 C (302 F)
Excellent resistance to rust and corrosion Longer life of bearings and chassis lube points
Outstanding structural stability Ability to provide effective lubrication over extended periods of time
Excellent wear protection under heavy loads Provides bearing protection while cornering and other conditions where bearings temporarily experience heavy loads.
Excellent resistance to water wash Withstands the effects of water washout from heavy rain storms or other high water wash events.

Applications
Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease meets the requirements of the National Lubricating Grease institute (NLGI) performance classification GC-LB. It is recommended for automotive applications at both high and low temperatures. It is particularly suited for applications such as disc brake wheel bearings and ball and steering joints. It will provide outstanding bearing protection under heavy loads at any highway speed, and where moisture or condensation is a factor.

Lucas X-tra Heavy Duty Grease

temperatures. EP fortified and exceeds OEM specifications.
Lucas X-Tra Heavy Duty Grease was formulated for automotive, agricultural, heavy-duty and industrial applications. It is virtually waterproof and is more stable than all conventional lithium grease. It is fortified with an extreme pressure additive package and it exceeds OEM Lube for Life specifications.

Key Benefits
• Lasts four times longer than regular grease
• Virtually waterproof
• All temperature stable
• Exceeds Lube for Life specifications
• The ultimate grease for high speed bearings

Redline Synthetic CV-2 Grease

Red Line CV-2 Grease is designed to withstand the extreme temperatures and pressures which occur in high-performance wheel bearings and CV-joints. The excellent high-temperature stability, extreme- pressure protection, and water resistance enables it to out-perform even the best conventional or synthetic greases. Red Line CV-2 Grease can be used in a wide range of applications at temperatures ranging between -100°F to 500°F and provides good oxidation and corrosion resistance, low evaporation and oil separation, and has a minimum effect on rubber seals. Possesses a very high melting point, excellent water washout resistance and superior antiwear which makes it excellent for high temperatures and extreme loads. CV-2 contains an organic moly and is for wheel bearings, high angle and conventional CV joints, chassis lubrication and high temperature, high speed industrial equipment. The exceptional extreme- pressure performance and the fluidity of the synthetic oil allows increases in bearing life of 200% to 800%. Red Line CV-2 Grease will retain its consistency and extreme-pressure performance under high- temperature and high-shear conditions for extended periods, which extends the performance ranges of the lubricated components. Red Line CV-2 will darken after high-temperature use; this darkening will not detrimentally effect the performance of the grease. Although Red Line CV-2 is compatible with small amounts of many petroleum-based greases, it is always good lubrication practice to thoroughly clean out the old grease to eliminate abrasive particles and to minimize the possibility of grease incompatibility.
