About New Voodoo Cam.???
I am putting in a Lunati Voodoo Cam. My previous one was a Comp Cam.
Should I be concerned about the spring compressed height, if so, what is the simplest method to do this.
installed height. As long as the valve spring compressed pressure
is not to high for your flat tappit cam you are alright, you need
at least .060 clearance on the coils of the valve spring at
full lift of your cam. More then likely if you have an under .500
lift or not much more then .500 the retainer to valve guide or top
of the seal to retainer clearance will be OK, but it never hurts to
check stuff.
feeler gauges can check for .060 coil clearance.
