Rear Speakers
Looking to upgrade my stereo system and was wondering what would be an appropiate path to run wires for speakers from the front to the back. Does a wire harness run through the center console to the rear or will I have to lift carpet.

I ran speaker cables under the carpet along the left side door sill and up to the rear. Only needed to lift edge of carpet to run cables in rear compartment. I made an enclosure for the rear to house a pair of decent 9x6 speakers, and have mounted a 150W rms (hi level input)stereo amp on the inside panel of the enclosure. Panel is trimmed with black loop pile carpet and looks like original. Decent sound and retain a decent sized rear storage space...
