72 to 74 frame

Is a 72 frame the same as a 74? thanks

no.... the chrome bumpers will not bolt up to 74 frame

thanks, thats what I was wondering about. didn't know if it was frame or just the brackets.

ok, I'm looking at a 72 with a rusted frame and I have a good 74 frame so all the 72 brackets are there, just interested in swaping bare frame.

From: I may be getting old but I refuse to grow up
the last 12" to 14" has to be modified and the mouting holes for the chrome bumpers drilled. I'm doing these changes to use a 74 frame under my 73

I didn't do the work myself but my 68 has a modified 74 frame, so it can be done.

I honestly don't remember, it seems like it's been quite a while since I've had the vette out in that area but my memory isn't what it used to be either.
