Default Eletric fan

I am wondering how much an eletric fan has to flow, to match the mecanical in flow rate.
As i undestand it the eletrical wil have a constant flow, while the mecanical will increase its flow with higher RPM.
So annyone now how my stock mecanical flow at say 5500rpm (I have a 454BB 73mod.)

Youst curious.

The Dual 11 or 12 spall with the built in shroud is a safe bet and hands down will beat the stock setup. I don't know what the stock system flows, like you said, it will vary with RPM and temp. Single speed, multi speed or variable speed are all possible with the electrics
I am building up my own system useing 2 12" fans and no shroud, will see how it performs and fab a shroud later if needed

do your fans have a shroud now?? if so, fasten to a couple of angle aluminum pieces bolted to the rear flange of the top/bottom rad support brackets, the tie the shrouds to the supports, like I did my Spals, then on top/bottom fit in a piece of curved roof flashing, same with sides and I happened to use a nice rubber door sweep/weatherstrip for the top section....

seals like Egyptian Tombs....

and yeh, not only those fans clean up the engine front allowing more junk to be packed in there, but it's a regular Hurry Caine....

Sounds nice. Do you have a pick of your hurricane setup?

Strictly a personal preference, but 2 is better than 1 in case of a failure.

LOok to the left of your screen, under cooling you find DeWitts radiators....he sells the fans....look at his site, you see dual spals set for C3 sharks....fit nice, install fairly easy, sealed properly to the entire core like I have done....and it's really fine....

I have just a stock '89? Camaro radiator replacement, single row aluminum GM used it in TA/Camaros so it's for SBC use, so I figgered since the core is same size, it's good for sharks...and it is...for a SBC shark, that is...NOT a BBC...

See my site, there should be a shot in there somewhere...

Go with DeWitts, and Spals. I did and they were a breeze to install and work in the hottest Texas weather.
